Teodor Popescu is an emerging Romanian sculptor whose practice explores the psychological and emotional dimensions of the human experience.

Working through a contemporary reinterpretation of classical sculptural language, he investigates the relationship between material, form and meaning; seeking to translate intangible ideas into physical presence. His work bridges classical aesthetics and contemporary thought, using sculpture as a medium for reflection on the complexities of the human condition.

Graduate of National University of Arts Bucharest (UNARTE), Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Sculpture, under the mentorship of Professor Adrian Ilfoveanu. His debut solo exhibition, “Dream,” was held at the Romanian National Opera in Bucharest in 2026.

Alongside sculpture, his artistic interests extend into other media, including an ongoing engagement with creative writing, while his background in architectural studies informs his understanding of space, proportion, composition, and visual structure.
